The Case for Basic

If you have tweens or teenagers, you know, basic isn’t good. It’s not exciting or new. Definitely not intriguing or deep. It’s, well…basic.

This is exactly why I think this is a really good place to start with our health and wellness. The basics are proven. They are simple. Not easy, but simple.

In the world of wellness, there is SO much that is shiny, new, and complicated. So many protocols and programs that we try to fit ourselves into that just don’t fit. We can spend endless amounts of time and money on supplements, pills, practitioners, books, and gadgets with no results. Or maybe we get some results but end up where we started, if not a little worse for the wear.

Why?

Many of these well intentioned plans are not personalized or tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.

Many are focused entirely on the wrong problem.

Many protocols are too complicated to follow while also, well…living your life.

And many of these programs would be great, necessary even….if you were doing the basics. But in lieu of the basics, they are not going to move the needle.

That is why we spend a lot of time on the basics inside my program. It isn’t a matter of not understanding what the basics are. We do. Mostly.

The problem is putting them into practice. Consistently. Effectively.

Everything in your life works better when you are properly hydrated, fed, and rested. When you have expended the right amount of energy in the right ways. For you. When you have learned how to manage and leverage the inevitable stressors in life. When you have learned that perfection isn’t the point but rather choosing to show up everyday, ready to learn, adjust and try again.

The catch? There isn’t a one size fits all. Bioindividuality points to the fact that we are all different. This is where a holistic view of health and wellness can be so supportive.

Inside my program you get to discover what this recipe is for you, as an individual. Then you get the time and space to practice. You get to stumble and try again. With unwavering support and love.

Curious about what results you could get working with a nutrition therapist?  Need guidance around nutrition, eating habits, weight management, and supporting real health and wellness? Inside my program we take a personalized approach and focus on you. Food, behavior change, stress management, and emotional wellbeing. Schedule a consult call today—---or pass this offer on to someone you care about.

With Love,

Angie
