Why Blood Sugar Balance Matters

This topic is important for everyone to understand. Not just those with a Type II diabetes or a Pre-diabetes diagnosis, although they would benefit greatly. Balanced blood sugar is integral to overall health.

Simply put, our modern world is not designed to support healthy blood sugar regulation.

-There are an abundance of highly processed foods, available 24/7

-Chronic stress is common

-Sleep is not prioritized and is sacrificed by many

-Desk jobs and sitting for hours in front of screens indoors has become the norm

Our bodies have an elegant regulatory system to keep our blood sugar balanced. But when poor quality food, stress, not enough sleep and sitting are the inputs our bodies receive constantly, things start to go awry.

Our hormones become imbalanced. (Hello those of us of a certain age.)

We feel exhausted.

Our mental health starts to decline.

This is when we start to see diagnosable diseases like Pre-diabetes, Type II Diabetes, Type III Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome, Heart Disease and more.

The good news is that we have INCREDIBLE agency in supporting balanced blood sugar. Right diet and lifestyle can truly help improve our health outcomes.

No matter where you are starting from.

Being informed and intentional matters.

I have created a webinar that addresses this topic in depth. “Can I Have My Cake and Eat it Too? A Workshop all about Sugar.” We talk about how blood sugar becomes imbalanced and effective tools for supporting this important regulatory system.

Do you know someone who could benefit from this information? A group of people?

Do you work for an organization that hosts speakers to talk about health and wellness topics?

If so, reach out! I would love to share this webinar and this important information.

I help people struggling with their health, energy levels, and cravings learn how to eat and live well.  By focusing on everyday habits, I help people build a simple yet profound wellness plan that allows them to live more fully. I accomplish this by leveraging whole foods, healthy lifestyle, and behavior modifications to support people in creating lasting, meaningful change.
